(June 15, 2020) – eRacr announced today that INFRA Resolutions signed on as the Primary Presenting sponsor of the virtual recreation of the Firecracker 400 that will be hosted on the iRacing platform. As part of the entitlement partnership, INFRA Resolutions will raise the guaranteed purse to $12,500

“We at INFRA Resolutions understand the need for high performing machines and components for this virtual platform and that is why we have partnered with eRacr for this amazing iRacing event,” said Chris Lukasik, CEO of INFRA Resolutions. “We are partnered with more than 100 manufacturers, including Dell, Cisco, HP, Intel, Lenovo, and many more. Allowing you access to these product lines at great prices on your Tech needs to get you into the iRacing game and into the front of the pack.”

The Firecracker 400 was a July 4th holiday tradition in the stock car world for more than 50 years. The OGs of stock car racing in the 1970s and 1980s drove their ill-handling racecars during the daytime heat of Florida in July in a challenging 400-mile race at the historic track in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The esports version of this event, Created by NASCAR drivers Landon Cassill and Parker Kligerman, will be a recreation of the classic race on the iRacing platform. The event will be an ode to stock car racing’s past, with an open entry iRacing race using the recently released 1987 stock cars at the Legacy version of Daytona on the platform. Racers from 8 countries will compete over a three-week span to qualify for the main event, the Firecracker 400, on July 1. (Prelims- June 18-19, Qualifying- June 24-25, Races- June 29 and July 1)

Each stage of the event will be broadcasted LIVE leading to the main event broadcast that will have time period correct graphics and multiple produced pieces highlighting great moments from the late 1980s Firecracker 400 races.

The “Two-Round” qualifying will be broadcast LIVE in its entirety as well with Landon Cassill and Parker Kligerman involved throughout the broadcast.

The live broadcasts of the event will be available on Twitch, Facebook, and Youtube. Follow Landon Cassill (@landoncassill), Parker Kligerman (@pkligerman), and eRacr (@eRacr_gg) on Twitter and Instagram for news and updates.
