Diversity in Daytona

👥 The 62nd Rolex 24 at Daytona is more than just a race; it’s a gathering of the world’s finest in motorsports. This year’s race boasts an impressive lineup, including Indy 500 winners, a Formula One champion, and Le Mans victors.

🌍 The race is a melting pot of talent, with over 200 drivers from around the world. IMSA president John Doonan highlights the race’s uniqueness, noting, “the unique nature of the track alone is enough to get world-class drivers excited.”

🤩 The field is packed with big names. Jenson Button, 2009 F1 champion, makes his debut in the GTP category. Alex Palou, two-time IndyCar champion, teams up with Scott Dixon, eyeing the prestigious win. The diversity extends to gender too, with a record nine female drivers participating.

🎥 Brad Pitt along with a full film crew for an F1-themed movie adds to the glitz, reflecting the event’s broad appeal.

🏆 Winning the Rolex 24 is a coveted achievement. Dixon, with four victories under his belt, emphasizes, “It’s one of the marquee events in the world.”
